In this mixed media painting, I depict Frida Kahlo. She inspired me with her strength, resilience, and authenticity, despite the many challenges she faced in her life. Frida symbolizes the courage to transform pain and joy into art. In my interpretation, you can also see a black cat and a parrot: an ode to her love of animals and symbols of self-confidence, playfulness, and creativity. This work invites reflection: what happens when we let go of our fears and embrace our true power? The Power of Self-Love is a tribute to Frida and an invitation to discover and live our own power.
