"If you only knew." How many times do we look at a person and think we know who that person is? Behind a calm look, a smile, or a perfect appearance, there often hides a world that is invisible to other people.
With this work, I invite the viewer to look beyond the surface. This geisha symbolizes everyone who carries feelings, memories, doubts, and dreams, without the outside world seeing any of it.
The vivid colors and the hand-painted mixed-media finish give each piece its own character. This creates a unique artwork where beauty and vulnerability meet.
