The art form I use is a time-consuming andtraditional process. Melting the wax and damar resin alone takes hours. I mix the hot, liquid mixture with pigment and use it to paint. As I paint, the mixture cools, so I have only a brief window to work with it before it solidifies completely. In this way, I build up an image layer by layer, adding, removing, and melting the material.
