Multiple layers of photographs and generated images form the starting point of Marion’s work. By merging, recoloring and blending these layers, a semi-abstract composition gradually emerges. The image is then refined at pixel level, where colors, shapes and lines are carefully perfected in detail.

In addition to architectural forms, Marion is also interested in organic structures and still lifes. She regularly travels within the Netherlands and beyond to photograph new material, which later becomes the basis for further digital processing.

As an abstract realist painter, I explore freedom, transformation, and emotional depth in my work. Layer by layer, I build my canvases where structure and intuition meet. Travel and nature inspire my use of color and movement. Some works were born from stillness and reflection, while others from pure joy, color, and presence.

Glass is my great passion. My creative path led me to SintLucas, where I trained as a creative glass artisan. For the past five years, I have worked traditionally with
stained glass, restoration, glass painting, engraving, and the Tiffany technique. In my private studio Glasburg in Tilburg, I create both autonomous work and commissioned pieces with personal attention.

As a self-taught artist and winner of several audience awards, I create paintings shaped by hand and heart. Through expressive use of color and rich layering, I bring my canvases to life. Every brushstroke carries emotion and experience. Nature and my engagement with people and the world nourish my work, which mirrors real life: fascinating and colorful.

The steampunk style is my world, where all my passions come together. Through
jewelry making, welding, and woodworking, I found my way to ceramics in 2023.
Self-taught and curious, I shape stories in clay, with a soul of metal and a
heart of fire; a fusion of craftsmanship, imagination and experimentation.

My realistic portraits of women are created intuitively and are an ode to the feminine. As a self-taught artist, I combine classical techniques with my own processes and mixed media: from pencil and paint to photography and digital elements. This way, I create layered works full of power, detail and depth.

For fifteen years, I have been photographing the “beauty of decay,” focusing on industrial and cultural heritage at home and abroad. I capture empty hospitals, factories, monasteries, and castles, fascinated by light, perspective, staircases, and silent witnesses. My urbexphotos evoke curiosity, wonder, and stillness in the viewer.

My art follows my heart and reflects transformation, empowerment, and the beauty of nature, offering viewers a glimpse into my rich and deep inner world. Feminine strength is central, expressed through softness, wisdom, and connection. Through my paintings, I aim to spread love and beauty across the world.

Creativity has always been
a constant in my life; from cakes to gardens, from flowers to interiors. For the past ten years, I have focused on reusing things in making art. With care and attention to detail, I give each piece a second life, full of charm, character, and renewed meaning.

As an artist and studio pedagogue, I’m inspired by the
uninhibited creativity of young children. My playful sculptures, often with long legs, evoke a smile. Touching and fragile and at the same time cheerful and strong. In my studio in Harderwijk, I like to guide others on their own creative journey of discovery.

As a glass artist, I
work on commission and share my passion for glass and light through courses and workshops in my studio in Tilburg. Inspired by nature - especially where land and water meet - I give shapes a new story, full of stillness, wonder, and beauty. To pass on!

As a furniture maker by origin, I craft my
wooden jewelry preferably from construction scrap wood or branches from my own
garden. Each piece is unique, inspired by the natural lines and colors of the
wood. From rings to necklaces, there’s something for everyone. Sustainable,
eco-friendly, and made with love. A beautiful piece of nature
to wear.

Sculpting feels primal and liberating to me. The
rhythmic carving in hardstone, marble and limestone, has a meditative quality.
The stone guides me toward its final form. Without machines, I create raw,
partially polished sculptures, a style that defines my work.

Trained as a goldsmith, I have been
fascinated by wool for years due to its structure, light diffusion and
softness. Inspired by the harmonious whispers of nature, I create felted wool
light objects where light flows gently and naturally, bringing an essential
element of nature into the home.

As a visual
artist, I draw inspiration in movement and the properties of paint. My
self-made tempera grassa paint fascinates me with its unique spatial qualities.
While painting, I play with guided chance and the balance between the recognizable
and the barely visible. My art invites extended observation, discovery and
personal interpretation.

Each of my ceramic houses is unique, with its own shape and texture, and individual character.

I draw inspiration from daily life and enjoy showcasing the humor in situations. These little houses offer us protection, space and tranquility - a place where we can truly be ourselves.
